Are male Ultras that survive the Process disproportionately likely to be stronger? It seems like at the top levels of the Regime and the Fists about 40% are male, which is more than I would expect (depending on exactly how much less likely they are to survive, but it seemed like enough to make this strange). Or does Prevailer just like having men around enough to give them a leg up?
Nobody has ever really tested whether there might be a bias in terms of which gender gets stronger gifts. The only folks with a scientific tradition (ignoring Preventer’s efforts for a sec) are the Union, and they have limited Processes, can’t spend any on dudes.
Men tend to get less controlled gifts, several reporting that their gifts kind of act like semi-separate entities (Indulger’s brah, Nirav’s alter ego), but they aren’t necessarily any stronger.
